“Im a Norwegian American photographer based in Oslo, Norway. My photography focuses on my adventures and what I'm passionate about in life. I use photography to deeply explore my environment. Besides photography, I'm skilled in Adobe media tools, editing, video, and sound. I am currently in my first year at the photojournalism bachelor program at Oslo metropolitan university, where I'm excelling in various media-related areas.”

EDUCATION

•August 2019 - June 2022, Media and Communication Studies, Glemmen VGS (high School), Fredrikstad, Norway.

My interests for photography and multimedia production started with focused high school education in the media and communication department at Glemmen High School. The subset of my education involved the full suite of Adobe media tools used for editing and exposure of film, video, graphic design and sound. Not only did I use these use these tools extensively in my schoolwork, but in various leisure projects as well. In this regard I gained an understanding of the media industry and its dynamics.

•August 2021 - June 2022, Certificate program for young photographers, Henie Onstad Art Centre, (mentoring program), Oslo, Norway.

During my last year of High School, I was selected as a candidate for a mentorship program at the Henie Onstad Art Center for Young Photographers. This was a year-long weekend program that included guidance from several well-known photographers. Among others, Jonas Bendiksen, who is a member of the photo agency Magnum. We ended the program with a gallery-showing with works from our duration in the program. This required me to have a critical selection process, something I know is important in photography.

•August 2023 - Present, Bachelors in photojournalism, Oslo Metropolitan University, Oslo, Norway.

I am currently studying towards a bachelors degree in photojournalism at Oslo metropolitan university. This course of study required an entry-exam and competition to be excepted as a student. My first year has been very instructive, and my multimedia specialties have excelled.
